The Wedi Sanoasa Bench is 100% waterproof, they bond well to the thin-set mortar. The bench will not cause efflorescence, discoloration, or waterproofing issues, often with products requiring mortar fills. They do not require additional blocking installed in the framing because their mounting brackets are fastened into existing wall studs.
